There's a lot of stress and pressure while working for a big club such as Man-U, especially when you're entering such big boots as sir Alex's. IMO Moyes should get at least 1 more season to prove himself in these levels, but I don't think the board would have enough patience to let him continue for 1 more season if they won't qualify for the ECL.
