An artery supplying heat muscle with blood is occluded to 13.9% of its original radius by a clot. By what percent is the blood flow through this artery reduced.

    r = R(1 - 0.139) = 0.861R

    r² / R² = 0.861² = 0.741

    is the ratio of the areas, so assuming the velocity is the same,

    the flow is reduced by (1 - 0.741) * 100% = 25.9%
