Anyone see this "distinctive twisting pattern"..?

I don't see anything in the form of a "wave"...Twisting or not.., and if it is supposed to be twisting like they say... doesn't that imply 2 objects..? I thought the "big bang" was from a single object and then "inflated" outward.

    Yes, it's pretty clear. First of all you have an alternating pattern of blues and reds. Then you have on top of that a pattern of weaker reds alternating with stronger reds, and weaker blues with stronger blues. There's pretty clearly "ripples" of some sort there.

    It isn't a simple sine wave if that's what you're looking for. More like the random ripples on the surface of a pond after it's been disturbed in some complex way.

    Yes - very clearly.

    The straight lines are the polarisation look at how the direction of the polarisation keeps changing.

    Look at RA +5, decl -50 to -55, that has a seriously obvious twist. Look at the way the straight lines keep changing direction.
