Help with wireless issue (read details)?

Ok, I have a Dell laptop with Windows 7.

I am in graduate school right now and I live in a university apartment where we get the University's wireless network.

Up until last summer, my internet worked fine no matter what network I was on. But then all of a sudden, It will allow me to connect to any network and shows that I have internet connectivity but then when I try to get open my browser it says "Server Not Found". When I run Windows diagnostics (which I know is not the best way to figure out what's going on) it basically tells me that there is something wrong with my DNS server. I have flushed DNS and renewed it but I still have not been able to get onto any other wireless networks.

It's confusing me because I still can get onto the university's wireless network with no problems. Is there a way that the university's network has made me have a static DNS or something? I don't know what's going on.

Let me know if you need any other information

Have you tried deleting you wifi adapter software in device manager and rebooting (it will reinstall itself on startup), also it would be good if you run Intel® Driver Update Utility. http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect
