yahoo answers is making many good changes but some are to be looked into--how do you feel?

I cannot work with the Purple format, so any changes made there are academic and of no interest to me. Like many here, I come back for as long as I have a workround back to the vastly superior "Green" format, and can comment should they make improvements to this.

At the moment, there is no nationality of Asker displayed, but the country of origin of the question is displayed - for you it shows India.

Without hovering, I can see your name and picture. Hovering over this gives me your percentage of Best Answers, number of answers, date you have been a member since, total points, points earned this week, and a clickable option to add contact or to block you.

This seems fine to me, but I would be interested to hear from those who have migrated to Purple whether they have improved on this.

My Green page is showing no ads. While this is a blessing in some ways, it cannot be making Yahoo any money in order to maintain this format (not that it needs much maintaining, since it ticks along quite nicely). A little banner somewhere, with well-behaved clickable text lines would be nice, but definitely no space hogging or distracting and bandwidth hungry flash animations are welcome. Maybe make the Ask Answer Discover banner a little smaller and pushed to one side, making room at the top for a box for ads. I could live with that.

The part where you have to click "see more" again after already opening the question is both stupid and extremely annoying. I'm at my wits end here. If this crap isn't put back or a new green format fix found by the end of the week, I'm done.
