True, announced today the EU is signing a formal treaty (association agreement) with Ukraine in attempt to save the rest of it from being taken by Russia. The EU has also promised $15billion and the US $1billion in economic aid to Ukraine to make up for the $5-10 billion former pro Russian Ukraine dictator Yanukovych stole as he fled.
Yes he is of course in Moscow living with Putin. There is a international criminal court and an Interpol warrant out for his arrest for theft, corruption, Maidan Square Massacre.
The new Russian leaders appointed dictators of Crimea have been banned from travel to the US or any EU country and all their foreign assets frozen.

He's not the president of Ukraine, Yanukovych is, this deal will cripple Ukraine (which is why Yanukovych rejected it in the first place) and the sooner the public hoof out these fascists the better - nobody wants to be a part of the EU, its forced on us all but sooner or later democracy will prevail and when that happens the Ukraine will be in tatters just like Greece, picked apart by greedy bankers and corporations

A 'meaningless document'....to make the Ukraine peoples 'think' they are going to be accepted into the EU....no matter Ukraine is already bankrupt.
This whole issue is being driven by the US....who see an opportunity to 'park' their military hardware/bases etc right on Russia's front door.
Putin wants 'his naval bases' in Crimea (entry into the mediterranean) to remain under russian control....the US would protect 'its interests' if this sort of issue affected one of 'their many' worldwide naval bases.
The Ukraine peoples will 'gain nothing' by accepting EU/Western interference....those 'ordinary' peoples interests are at the bottom of the pile of western governments agenda's.!!
If 'eventually' Ukraine is accepted into the EU....it will just be a 'continuation' of other bankrupt eastern european countries allowed to join....just to enlarge this 'ridiculous' (failed) concept of a United States of Europe....which current member countries will be funding....forever - just like Greece/Spain/Ireland etc is being continually EZ funded 'now'....and forever.!!
Ukraine will be used by the EU/EZ (Brussels) to 'dump' some of its own massive debt structure as has already been suggested.
This whole issue is just 'another' western political game of....takeover and control.
