How should I decorate my cast?

I tore my ACL in a skiing accident and want to know how I should decorate my cast. I was thinking black with a white rub on and then have people sign in gold or silver. Since I am having my cast on for a long time I really want it to be special and something I will not get bored with. Do you guys have any ideas for me? Thanks I appreciate all the help. :)

I have had ACL surgery and I have had quite a few people with ACL injuries and surgery's, but have never seen someone been put in a cast because of a torn ACL. Are you in a cast now?? I have only seen people in braces because of a torn ACL because they normally want to keep the knee active, as this helps the knee heal faster, but anyway with the cast situation decorate it how you think looks best and make sure you keep an eye on what people write on it because it does not come off easily, I know because I currently have a broken leg and am in a cast, My first cast I let people decorate it but didn't like it after a week because it looked bad, but thankfully was only in that cast for two weeks, but I now have a black cast (because it doesn't mark easily, or show signs of wear too badly) and I won't let any one touch it because I have to be in this one for 4 weeks at least. All the best and if you have any questions about your ACL I am happy to answer them, I'm a 18 year old girl who is highly active in sports and have had my fair share of injuries :)
