Have your tried a flat iron? I would go with ceramic, one inch. Chi is a good brand but there are a lot of good brands out there. You want to go with ceramic because the way it was explained to me by a friend who is a hairstylist, the type of hair that is frizzy tends to have a surface that resembles fish scales standing up, but the ceramic flattens them out and straightens your hair. You an also have a curly hairstyle but will appear more controlled because of the effect of ceramic. Is your hair dry? Maybe try not washing it so often. Leave a 24-hour conditioner in, and then rinse. Then apply Farouk's silk therapy serum, as heavily as you need it, then let dry. Scoop your hair up in a holder at the top of your head, then take strands one at a time from the bottom and straighten them. Work your way up through the hair until you're finished. Always make sure that your hair is well protected with serum before you do this. Another stylist said that a hot temperature is better, but pull the iron through quickly, but don't pull or yank on your hair because it could break. Another stylist said that a hot temperature can be damaging. I hope this helps. These products are kind of expensive, but worth it, you can probably get them on Amazon.com. If not, embrace the way your hair naturally is and try to find a style that flatters your hair and your face. I have not seen your hair so I don't know how to make any suggestions there. Do you know who Esperanza Spalding is? She is a young graduate of Berklee School of Music who now teaches there and gives concert tours all over the world when her schedule allows. She is an excellent upright bass player and singer. She is half Irish, half African American. She has frizzy hair. She has found a style that becomes her. She is a very beautiful young woman. Try googling that name and see if you can look at a picture of her. Your beauty may be completely different, but the point here is that she embraces her natural hair and styles it to flatter her features. Maybe you can find your own distinct look. Another thing to try is growing your hair long, French braiding, up dos, twists, and other braided hairstyles. You can also play around with different headwear. It's all good. Have fun and good luck.

I can very well understand your problem as one of my friend has it too. She has recently started using Oriflame's HairX Frizz Free Leave-in Cream, and it has helped her to a great extent. Your frizz problem will definitely be solved with this. You should definitely try it. Also you can use the same shampoo for the best results.
