I agree research is easy enough these days with the internet and search engines. So go do some research and stop expecting someone to just hand the answer to you on a plate!

I think you need to study the Airman's Information Manual, and the FAA CFR's for a start. Perhaps some airline as published crew training manuals.
Like most legal issues, research involves reading tons of stuff, not a quick answer from Yahoo!
