this is appauling the most beatifull parrots of Australia to be killed like this..

whats wrong with some people.... are they encased in concrete and traffic lights that's mucg that a hint of nature sends then off on murderous spree of innocent wild life...makes me sick to the stomach...

    I don't think it is a hangable offence, but it should attract a hefty fine and jail time. However they won't find the person responsible because people will cover up for each other, or for anyone they remotely suspect of doing it, as these birds are, unfortunately, hated by farmers.

    Sheila is absolutely correct. The only way they will find who did it is by accident. People in towns can bleat about it but those who have to continually replace tarpaulins covering harvested grain pulled apart by parrots are going to have the opposite opinions.
