Can I use the names of actors for characters in my novel?
Whenever I write (or read) stories, I like to imagine the characters as certain actors. So is it possible for me to name my characters after real life actors? Or is it some sort of copyright thing? Thanks!

If is perfectly fine. One person does not own a name like Benjamin Franklin, but if it is a stage name like Prince, he was sued for that.

I wouldn't name them after the actors with their first and last names. If I were you I'd use their first names and change their last names so it'd be more 'realistic', sorry I don't have another word for it lol.
We all imagine our characters as certain actors, you could use your own names and then create a cast for fun, I always do that :)
