Benzene + pentane bonded to ch2-cl are the reactants. AlCl3 is the catalyst. Benzene bonded to hexane is the product.

    Your question contains an inconsistency: in the title you have "cyclohexyl benzene" but in the text you have "Benzene bonded to hexane". Those are two totally different products.

    The reaction is Friedel-Crafts alkylation, and the generalized mechanism is shown here:
