I'm a 17 year old guy and because of my religion I have been allowed to cut my hair but I'm still going to soon. Because of tying my hair up my whole life, I have a receding hair line. Here's a picture.

I think a crew cut would look good, but keep a lot of hair on the top, so you can gel your hair into different styles to hide the hairline.
gel it into a messy style on the top-it will hide it and girls like that too.
