How can we get rid of spam on Yahoo! Answers?

I see reported spam of prostitution ads are still there and see I cannot get it deleted just by being the only one reporting.

These instances are in Other - Education at this point. It seems to take two people to report and get them eliminated. Nothing's been done in a half hour. There are over 8 of the same ad by 4 accounts.

Update:

I have not gotten spam in *my* Yahoo! Answers. I am reporting spam, both questions and answers in Y!A. Nobody spammed me this time. I was frustrated to report the spam to Yahoo! Answers but went back and still saw the junk posted.

ERROR: Yahoo! Answers suggested "Abuse and Spam" as the subject. I agreed to it, then not noticing that would put my question in the Yahoo Products > Yahoo Mail topic instead of Yahoo! Answers. Then I posted in Yahoo Products > Yahoo Answers also.

I to have gotten Spams in my Answers. Its caused by opening spam in your Yahoo Mail and the they just get a verifying spam from your email address that there spam had been opened and they unleash a spam virus and your mail and answers gets spam from then on. If you can contact the spam address and get then to remove your Personal info and email address from there server then that one spam will stop.

Source(s): I go to my Applications folder and in the search bar i enter plist and j for java and i go through all my filed and scan there titles to see if there all mine and i find 20 to 30 that are not mine. i trash rum and they just return. i can add there addresses to my mail settings block Addresses and them spams might stop, One really has to request to be unsubscribed and opt out and removed to get them to stop.

About the spam - here is what I do.

    I click on his activity.

I then go through every answer he gives.

make sure he has at least 1 Thumbs Down. (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT)

    Click "report abuse"

Write this phrase exactly this way

"SPAM. Getting FREE advertising from Yahoo. Lists his website on every answer."

Make a copy & paste it on every answer he gives. Soon as s quick as you report him it will be deleted.
