Mine went up $3000.00 per year. My deductible went from $1000.00 to $4500.00 and nothing will be paid until I pay my full deductible. Pathetic since I've averaged maybe $600.00 a year for medical costs in the last 10 years.

Nope! Mine will be 48% more with a $13K deductible. They can stick it. I filed the hardship form under reason number 14. Didn't even have to provide them any documentation.

I have the same insurance I've had for 5 years.

So, I looked at what my premiums were, for my entire family (not including dental):

Between 2009 and 2010, it went up 12%.

Between 2010 and 2011, it went up 8%.

Between 2011 and 2012, it went DOWN less than 1%.

Between 2012 and 2013, it went up less than 1%.

Between 2013 and 2014, it went up 2%.

Gotta say, I much prefer these 2% or less increases over the 8-12% I was seeing earlier in Obama's term.

So much for the theory that ObamaCare is doubling or tripling everyone's insurance premiums.

Oh, and you're wondering about the employer portion of the premiums, between 2013 and 2014, the increase was 3%. Between 2009 and 2010, it was 7%.

MORE in premiums, and even MORE in out of pocket costs such as deductibles and copays.

Same. I told them to put it where the sun would have little or no effect.

    Yes. I calculate 20% less.

I was just reading this article you might find interesting, I have no copays for preventative care. That saves me about $150 a year for regular check ups.
