Starting acting at 14?
Since I was in year 5, I've always loved acting and singing. Then when I got into high school, I took Preforming Arts GCSE. I know that everyone wants to be famous and what not but I don't actually want fame. I was looking up auditions for adverts in my area but I couldn't find any which I don't mind so I was talking to my mum and she was saying that I'd need experience. I've been wanting to join like a local drama club for a while now but my mums being weird about it. I was talking to her about it earlier, and she was saying I couldn't do acting or anything because I didn't start it from a young age, although everyone's got to start somewhere. She starting having a go at me for it, but I want to start classes or even just do a crappy little advert. Am I too old to start? What should I say to my mum?

Probably your mum thinks that people will manipulate you . When i was in your age i was thinking that i was too good for a lot of famous professions , but when i grew up i saw that i had lots of things to learn .
If you so badly want to start from 14 you can , ive seen younger girls on tv , BUT , you must have a very good agent , and your mother as a consular .
Have some experience then "go to the matress"

Your mom probably thinks that your interest in acting will drag you down as far as careers go. You aren't too old. Just tell your mom that you are doing acting to boost your confidence. Trust me, it always works!
