Having a hard time at work. How can I overcome this?
I left a job because people were constantly moaning that I was doing things wrong - I have never experienced that level of criticism before.
I found a nice job (not amazing but okay!) where a similar thing is happening. I am having a hard time dealing with this because I am apparently making mistakes constantly. For example no matter how many times I check something there is always a miniscule mistake or something is missing despite consciously saving things so that it doesn't go missing. I will objectively send an email, only to find that the email hasn't been sent. Someone will ask me if I have done something and it will transpire that I haven't!
I repeat I consciously check and double check but for some reason I am still making these errors.
I am wondering whether i'm having memory problems.

its called.........scanning. When you scan the detail this is what happens. From now on dont scan your work.....go over it as it it is a new thing before your eyes.
I have similair problems, its because I dont start from pointA and go on to point B....I always can make 1 mistake. Its from scanning the problem and not making sure.
my motto has been for about 30 years because of this problem...." always make sure"

You might want to talk to a doctor about that, if you think that might be the case. Also if you find your attention waning at work, that might also be a culprit.
If you have a co-worker that you like and respect, I would go to them and ask them to proof your work before you submit it (if that kind of thing is possible). Or talk to them about what you can do better.

stupid, sloppy, uncaring of work, oversensitive, or maybe multiple personality.. is it important enough of a job to really care anyway... go flip hamburgers and it wont matter.
