It depends on his work ethic during every offseason. If Chris Clemons works hard and performs very well in practice every day, he will greatly improve his chances of becoming a successful, top notch NFL safety for the Houston Texans in the future.

He is a solid starting safety. He isn't elite as of right now nor is he mediocre. I think he immediately becomes Houston's best safety. He is not a ball-hawk nor is he great in coverage, but he is a tackling machine. He hasn't missed a game in 2 seasons either, so he is a durable player. Solid pick-up!
