Why is it important to follow God's plan for sexuality in order to be a healthy body/spirit person?

Just like anorexia nervosa leads to bulimia nervosa - uncontrollable eating from starving yourself - sexual asceticism leads to uncontrollable episodes of sexual behavior. Both involve shame and secrecy.

Just as your body needs nutrition and water and sleep, healthy people also require occasional sexual activity

Repressing thoughts also has eventual inappropriate expression such as episodes of madness.

My personal opinion is, sex uses many resources the body makes or needs for other important functions. and by abuse of sex and fornication, other functions will decrease or cease altogether.

Speaking as someone with epilepsy, I found medication much better than the casting the demons out like the bible would have recommended.

Sexual promiscuity involving adultery and/or fornication causes social disorder. Things like jealousy, unwanted children, STDs, violence between rivals, violence against an unfaithful lover, abortion, child abuse, child neglect, children sent to orphanages, court battles, and divorce.

There are good common-sense reasons to avoid the high-risk behaviors of adultery and fornication.
