National Guard Split Op, SMP and Rotc in college?

OK. So I am a senior in high school and I want to join the Georgia National Guard while in college. I want to do BCT this summer and AIT the next. This is the Split Op I am trying to go for. While in college I am doing ROTC because my college guarantees Active Duty Commission after college. I prefer not to be deployed because I want to graduate within 4 years. Is this what the SMP program guarantees?

"my college guarantees Active Duty Commission after college"

No they don't. It's up to your performance in college, ROTC AND LDAC (CLC is what they call it now I think).

SMP allows you to be in the Guard and ROTC at the same time. It does not guarantee anything except if you sign a special contract (Name escapes me at the moment) that helps you pay for college which in return, you agree to become a Guard officer once you commission.

As an SMP cadet, you will hold the pay grade of E-5. (Your CAC card will say E-5 Sergeant on it), and will training with Guard Soldiers. You will be assigned to a 2nd Lt. who you will shadow and learn from. The benefits are extreme.
