Is Nestea green tea for real?

I enjoy a can of Nestea green tea - it says on the can that it has "green tea" - but does it have real green tea or just ordinary tea dyed green? I ask because I'm starting to drink a lot of it and would rather not if it isn't real.

Yeah it is real green tea but it is a drink not a infusion. Tea drinks may contain flavors or additives like silicates or artificial sweeteners not to mention the phosphoric acid and K Benzoates . It is better to buy regular tea and make an infusion of it. This is more natural than drinks.

In the US and Europe food companies must tell the truth on their ingredient lists. And Nestle Teas are among the best in the business. But you should consider buying the dry green tea and making it yourself. that way you know exactly what is in it, and you can sweeten it to suit your own taste should you want to, and store it in the fridge.

it might have some green tea, but not the kind you're used to. it's probably masked by lots of sugar and other flavors to make it taste good. Real green tea is kind of grassy and not sweet.
