My estranged wife keeps messaging me saying she wants to still be friends. Basically she left and the spit was?
more her fault than mine so I keep telling her no. however, someone gave me two zoo passes and I got the sudden urge to go and invite her. People?

I don't think she wants to be friends. She wants to keep you "available" in case she doesn't have any luck with other men. She wants to hang out so she can maintain a "lip-service" relationship...just enough to keep you in her life, so she can pick you back up later if she needs you to be her last resort. You deserve better. Don't fall for it. One of my brother's ex-girlfriends did that to him.
I think you should invite someone else to the zoo.

I agree with Carolina. Make the brake clean and complete. Don't leave any wiggle room. It's hard and will get better with time. But only if you have put the past in the past, away from here and now and are pushing on ahead. Can you see yourself on a date some day and you just happen to mention, "Oh yeah, me and my ex still hang out". I think it's a bad deal for your next whoever and for her next whoever. Only reason to stay friends is for the kids and that takes some work so they don't get confused. My ex only texts me about something she left behind :-)

have nothing to do with her. she wants something from you. she probably wants money. if you get back with her, expect it to cost you plenty.
