    HA <---> H+ + A-

    where HA is the formic acid and A- its conjugate base

    using an I.C.E table

    Ka = x^2/([HA] - x)

    where x is [H+]

    so from the pH calculate x, you know Ka substitute these numbers in to the equation and calculate [HA]
