The whole thing is a joke. If you are unemployed and can't find a job, they still expect you to pay around $170. a month for it. Happened to 2 friends of mine. What a joke. What happened to all those claims it was going to be free health care for people?

You still have to pay if you walk into a hospital for an appointment if you have no insurance. My friend had to pay $150 for his appointment. And of course they say at the hospital you can apply to medicare and such but have to meet certain requirements. Isn't that how it was 4 years ago? Nothing has changed. They just fine you now if you don't have insurance. That is how it is now.

  • Seven million more insured, that sounds like a success to me. Funny how it upsets cons that they are paying for 7 million fewer people than they were, at a minimum. I suspect that does not include the children on their parents insurance until 26.

There is a Chinese saying: "The longest journey begins with a single step." That is still true.

Obamacare is a beginning and it does have its problems. But for the first time in our history there is a provision for medical care for everyone. When you consider that as I write this Cuba, one of the world's poorest countries, has a lower infant mortality rate than the US does and we are one of the world's richest countries, you can understand the importance of Obama care.

I wish Obamacare had fewer start up problems. But far better to have a plan with start up problems than no plan at all.

It's a start. The PPACA has provided benefits to tens of millions of Americans. Conservatives, just like you, hate that.

You will never understand. You are a Con and admit you don't understand science and statistics. Red State rednck governors won't allow Medicaid to expand, so those people are left out without any coverage.

Because I would be impossible to achieve 100%. You don't think 7 million is a huge figure? I do.
