What are the other cultures that indicate a world wide flood in prehistoric times?

Question

I'm presuming the flood according to genesis concerned itself with the near east.
I know the National Geographic had a large article several years back indicating that the seas broached the Dardenelles in ancient times creating ultimately the Black Sea as the waters flooded Anatolia, that could have coincided with the Thera volcano?
supposedly there are native American tribes that also indicate a gigantic "world wide" flood.
Are there any others that are indicated either through tales or writings or drawings that are known to geographic or anthropological scholars?

The flood is probably the most universal archetype in mythology. It'd be easier to list cultures which don't have one. Admittedly, a few, such as the Chinese version, are regional, but the vast majority aren't.
