Is it possible that Wiz Khalifa is holding back his good music?

Alright, I went to Taylor Allderdice High School, was a HUGE fan of Wiz back in the day before he got even remotely big. For example I remember vividly when Prince of the City 2 came out, Star Power, etc. Show and Prove obviously. However, I am not biased enough to continue to listen to his new stuff when it is so clearly junk meant to be consumed by the masses. I am not saying that Wiz needs to be a conscious rapper, that isn't why I liked him in the first place. I AM saying that it is possible to remain creative with your craft and adapt. I understand that a lot of people like his new stuff, but I personally think it's garbage. Do you think it's possible that he is just stashing raps away, and that he still has his talent, but that he holds onto it because either he or his label have decided that it's not going to sell as many copies? I feel like its impossible to just completely lose the skill that got him there. His flow is still ok, but he used to actually go hard on beats in a refreshing way. What're your thoughts world?

    Well if he DID have good songs before with good lyrics and concepts... and now he doesn't, all that really means is one of two things;

    a) He sold out - all this means is someone stops doing in what they were doing, to then conform to the mainstream just to make cash... for example if Immortal Technique sold out, that would mean he would start rapping about getting money and popping MDMA because that is the "popular ish" right now..

    b) He's out of ideas and concepts...

    But yo, honestly I never listened to much Wiz before... I liked his song "Never Ever" a few years ago which is really the first time I heard him... but my guess is if he did have some great music back in the day, then he just sold out... I've never heard anything by him that had good concepts tho...
