What to look for in an adventure tourism company - skydiving?

I'm thinking of going skydiving with this adventure tourism firm but I'm clueless on how to go about it. To those of you who have skydived before how do I make sure that they will conduct it in a safe and professional manner? What questions do I need to ask before signing up?

If you're going through a tourism firm than they are most likely going to be pretty safe just for legal issues. Also, assuming that you're going tandem skydiving, in which you're attached to your instructor they will have hundreds, likely thousands of skydives and will be very capable of ensuring all aspects of your safety. As for professional manner, every person is different, but realistically if they're unprofessional than it will be bad for their own business, so they probably work on being pretty great. I've attached a link to find dropzones around the world, so if you know where you'll be skydiving at, you can find it and check out any reviews they have. There should also be contact information listed if you wish to call in advance and just ask general questions. Have fun.
