lots of things, the intricate yet understated finger picking, the calm almost whispered voice that is just as soothing as it is haunting. what's not to like? the 1928 sessions are just flat out some of the best and most important recordings in the history of popular music.

good for its day.good pickin style.As far as liking it, NO.I,ve been into the blues for 38 years, this really old stuff never did it for me, ANything from the 60,s on thats different.
