URGEN- Dance Competition!?

I have a dance competition today. It's only my second competition. My friend and I have a duet but she has a fractured ankle and can't compete. So...

Do you have any tips for performing a duet as a solo!?

please answer ASAP

Maybe your instructor has a back up plan? If not and it's completely your decision, try to reconstruct the choreography into a solo and if needed, you may have to shorten the routine since solos are usually shorter than duets in competitions.

If there's a dance combination within the choreography that is only significant when there's two dancers, try to revise it. But if you've never been in a solo before, you should really rationalize your choice before making. it. Don't throw yourself into a situation where you'll be completely uncomfortable, only perform a solo if you know you can pull it off and that you're ready.

    Good luck :)

    Drop out.

You can't do a duet as a solo.
