Is it possible for me to do this?

I'm writing a screenplay, but I plan on releasing it as a book. I've been writing books and stories for a while, and have just recently got into reading scripts. I admire how they're simple, but can still develop a sort of emotion in the reader. Am I able to do this? Would you read it? Thanks!

I doubt any publisher or reader will be interested in the screenplay of a film that hasn't been made yet (and from the sound of things, might never be made). Screenplays do occasionally get published as books, but usually for films that have already been successful. The only one I'm aware of that was published without having been filmed was Harlan Ellison's version of Isaac Asimov's I, Robot. Of course, that wouldn't have been published had Asimov and Ellison not been famous science fiction writers.

    Self-publishing is always an option...
