Where is the biggest and best outdoor Flea Market in the Toronto area ?

Hi folks, traveling to Toronto in early May, are there any great outdoor flea markets in the area. I'm not looking for those 3-world markets, selling crap like paintball guns or plastic toys. I am looking for the lot where a typical Canadian family will set up a table selling personal effects, antiques, emptying out the house kind of stuff.

Thank You

This is my world! The best place close to Toronto is in Guelph called the Aberfoyle Antique Market they have

what u are looking for indoor and outdoor flea market admission is 2.00 opening april 27

other flea markets that would have some outside vendors world be Pickering flea market in Pickering just outside of Toronto. The St Lawrence market is a rip off market full of trendy idiots who are overpriced and poor quality.

Source(s): source I am a flea market expert.

Average Canadians don't do flea markets as you describe. Individuals will do individual garage sales that are sometimes advertised in local media. Your best bet would simply be to go to a neighborhood early on a Saturday morning and look for signs.

Aberfoyle is great but the sellers are mostly full time merchants selling inventory and are not individual families.

You might not find any in early May. While it might be warmish outside, it might also be raining--extended April showers--and most big outdoor events are scheduled for later in the summer.

Your going to have to go somewhere else because its the 21st century and nobody does garage sales that much anymore.
