It's also burning fuel like crazy. This just started yesterday. What would cause this?

One of the most common check engine light issues those cars have are for emissions. The computer has detected an error and is confused on what to do b/c something has failed. Many places can read the ecm code. Until then your gonna have to take it to a pro and not Yahoo.

Are you a mechanic? Can you repair this car? No? Why ask? There are 23 different reasons for a Check Engine warning to be activated in a car. More on others. But the reaction of the owner is the same. Read the car manual. And the car manual states, Go to a Mechanic.

I dunno. What is the code that turned the light on??? How about getting that first before asking that question on here.
Rides Rough?? Better explain your question, is it rougher over bumps or is it misfiring??? If its misfiring, then theres your answer as to why the Check Engine Light is on. Now have the dealership diagnose it to see why its misfiring
