why does everyone hate the Jets?

Yes, Rex was overly cocky at first. But that's the way he had always been. And I don't think he was used to being a head coach at that time. He's a lot better head coach now. Because he's learned a lot about managing a team since then. For one thing with the Jets, they've made a lot of bad player picks. Geno Smith was not a great QB pick. I liked Buffalo's QB pick far better. And they'd have been much wiser to have gotten Alex Smith from the 49ers like the Chiefs did.

I watched the draft last year. And the Jets and Cowboys made bigger blunders than any other teams in the draft. The Jets can build a great defense. And I wouldnt' really pick on the Jets receivers. I've seen good quarterbacks do great with far less. The Jets just have sucky quarterbacks. And I'm not the biggest fan of their OC either. For example, their running game was working great in some games. And what does the OC do? He starts passing the ball like crazy. I'm like, "You idiot!" Anybody could see that the running game was working and would have won you the game. Then he goes to having Geno throw like crazy and they lose.

Geno was a bad bad QB pick. I'd heard that during QB draft interviews he would text away on his phone and wouldn't even talk with coaches and owners. He was doing that at the draft too and dressed up super fancy for the draft. He was wearing like over $1 million in clothes and jewelry. He was writing huge checks before he'd even gotten signed. Then there was the incident on the airliner where he got thrown off. He's not a guy that works hard or listens well. That's not the type of guy you want to be the team leader. You want a guy that works hard like Peyton or Brady or Brees or Rodgers or Luck.

And Vick is a mediocre quarterback at best. He had more turnovers than about anybody in the NFL. Heck, I'd probably take Terrelle Pryor over either one of those guys.

The one thing the Jets do have going for them is their great defense. And honestly I like Rex Ryan. I'm a Colts fan and Rex gave a lot of respect to the Colts whenever he played them. And was cool to see him in the running of the bulls.

Honestly I'd love to see the Jets do well so they'd shut the Patriots fans up. The Jets just need a better quarterback and a better front office that knows how to draft and sign people halfway descently. Like for instance Decker isn't too bad of a signing. But what good is his high priced salary going to do you when you have so-so quarterbacks like Geno and Vick throwing to him?

If the Jets were smart, they'd get Bortles or Carr in the draft and later dump Geno and Vick. Or get a good QB next year and dump them. Geno had some bright spots last year. But he doesnt' have the drive to work hard to be a good QB. The last time I saw a QB with that little drive was JaMarcus Russell and we all know what happened to him.

Because the choices rex and the owner make in the offseason regarding player, they completley destroyed there own team and are continuing to make dumb decisions

They're my second favorite team, favorite AFC team but they probably don't respect Ryan because of his decisions

Mostly Rex Ryan. Can't stand that guy.

I don't mind them i like Ryan's outspokenness.It is also nice when stuff backfires on them
