Hi, I have to write an essay for my english class. I have to choose an artifact and state how it generates meaning in the world. I have no idea what artifact to choose.

Check out the German "Venus". It was recently discovered and Is officially the oldest sculpture of a human that dates back to back to between 35 and 40 thousand years ago. It is made out of ivory tusks from the mammoth. There is a lot more to it, but seeing how it was only discovered in 08', it will be a good essay to write, and many might not have even heard about it. You could right a book based just how the figure looks and what it could represent.
