Man on a dating site keeps contacting me, but even though I've given him my cell number, he continues to contact me through the site.?
It's been about 1 month and a 1/2, he talks about taking me places, and seems very nice, talks about doing things together, but our scheduled dates have never materialized... He either cancels or I have to. He has given me his address, I've checked him out, seems legit. However, he continues to contact me on a daily basis, but only on the dating site, illuding to future dates, like places he'd like to take me "one day", but never really following through. I cancelled out once as well, so it's not just him. Any thoughts about what could be going on?

It sounds to me like neither you or he is ready to meet. What reasons? Who knows. When the time comes it will happen. Be patient.

Just tell him that it's time for you to meet as you don't want to waste more time online with him. And don't just talk to him - make sure you are also trying to meet others

Have you considered he may be married. All the signs points to this. You don't want a married guy, do you? How do you find out. I don't know baby girl.

I have a same situation as yours. Me and my online bf are from different countries, we chatted on dating sites everyday. We are so inlove to each other though we never met. He always planning to meet me but he just so busy on his work so he tend to cancel. If you really want to meet him then show him that you are willing and be patient to wait. Just enjoy chatting him everyday and know him very well first.

Sounds like you both want to do whats convenient for yourselves so you both are not ready. ask him why he dosen't text you and gives you bullshit move on, is this a serious dating site or like "casual" meet?
