    It depends...

    - If you are running on a standard headunit power without additional amps neither will satisfy you much.

Both are not very sensitive and will not sound loud with H/U's limited power so you'd better go with something which is of 92 to 93 dBs (or even 94DBs if possible) sensitivity/efficiency.

    - If you do use amps as well, then it's a matter of personal preference and how do you like the tonality of sound. Statistically maybe 55% of people would prefer Rockford and 45% prefer Alpine but it would be safer if you tried to listen to their sound in a shop or at friends' cars and decide according to your preference.

Look into Rockford's Punch Series Component Speakers, prime is entry level Punch Series is a step about prime and Power Series is there top of the line Equipment. If your in need of a deal Alpines will work just fine.

Neither.... Personally if your putting them in the door of your car I'd go for 3 way speakers.... Better overall sound....but the RMS power of both of those are low... You can find a pair of boss 6.5s either 2way or 3way with 100-150 w RMS each for under 30 dollars. Just my opinion but you can get more for your money than either of those sets of speakers.
