My email account keeps being hacked?

Every few weeks I am told people I know are being sent junk by my email.

I have repeatedly run tests and changed my password.

YAHOO email has no customer service at all or accountability so I am asking the community.

I could use GMAIL but ive used yahoo all my life and though I now hate it due to the endless changes and lack of support, its part of who I am so I wish to continue using it.

I have anti virus and anti spy and anti malware etc. but it keeps happening and now my password is soooo complicated I cannot even remember it so I have to write it down.

The worse thing is YAHOO provides no record of these emails being sent out and not once any notices that people in CHina are suddenly using my account and messing around with my settings etc.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can keep YAHOO but STOP being targeted.

This has only happened in the last year or so.
