What is the formula for this prism?

V= Area of base x h

I don't know what is the formula

    As you mentioned, the volume of ANY prism is:

    Volume = (Area of the base) * (height of the prism)

    To answer the problem, we need to know the area of the base of the rectangular prism. Since the prism is rectangular,

    Area of the base = length * width

    In short, A = lw. So V = lwh. Thus,

    a) V = lwh = (100 cm)(30 cm)(20 cm) = 60000 cm^3

    c) V = lwh = (3.1 m)(1.4 m)(2.2 m) = 9.548 m^3

    Hope this helps!
