What is a textile hoody for? See link...?

I don't wanna be hot in the summer with my leather jacket, but will this hoody be sufficient for riding around town or offer any protection?

    This is a great deal for a motorcycle rider who wants the "protectors" that can be slipped in the jacket. The $99 price seems high since you could get a non-motorcycle hoodie for $30 that looks great. If you have a cycle, buy it. If you are talking about driving around in a convertible car, keep shopping.
