how t have screen turn off when charging Galaxy s5.?
I just got the S5 and I'm having trouble with the charging. Whenever it gets a text or gets to 100 percent while it charges the screen stays on. It doesnot shut off after a little bit. It stays lit until you push the power key or type in your pasword. (I use the fingerprint scanner). I want to know if theres anyway I can't change this so the screen doesn't stay on. This is frustrating especially when I charge it overnight and the screen stays lit for hours after it has reached 100 percent.

Go to your phone's setting and find "Developer" options. There should be a box that says "Stay Awake" that is most likely checked. Uncheck that and the screen will stop staying lit up :)

None of these worked...mine stays on after all these settings have been messed with..anybody on here actually know what they're talking about or is everyone just hear up ***?????

I don't know how to have it turn off after a while, for this doesn't happen to my mom.
But...
You could probably just turn it off ALL the way at night so it doesn't wake you up?
