I have a new HP Pavilion Notebook with windows 8.1 on it and I can't figure out how to transfer music off my CD's to the hard drive.(Music)?

I have tried all I know to transfer some of my CD's to my computer (Music), but it just wont work.

    Windows Key + D = Desktop Screen

    Insert DVD

    RIght click Windows Explorer → Windows Explorer

    Click on OS (C:) to expand

    Click your DVD Icon

    Select the songs or click & drag range → Right click → Copy → Paste in destination folder

    Open CD in explorer, select all, copy, go to directory you want to paste it and paste. Windows 8.1 is being nixed, you might want to convert your laptop to windows 7 since it's going to be the only windows that has security updates and you don't have to worry about all the bugs Windows 8 has.
