Chemotherapy side-effects?

What does it mean when one had gone through second phase chemotherapy and show ONLY nausea and fatigue? What about other side-effects?

I had no side effects and the cancer hasn't returned, so it worked.

Side effects are individual. It means that he is tolerating the chemotherapy well. It could also mean that the other side effects (loss of hair is very common) may come soon.

I had 3 rounds of chemo with 3 different agents in combination. It is a really nasty regime but I tolerated it well. I had horrible mouth sores for a few days each round, managed my nausea with medication to the point where I only had 2 bouts of reflux during the entire time, and lost my hair about 1/2 way through the program. I lost a fair bit of weight, but I was feeling well enough to play a round of golf during each round.

Chemotherapy can also damage the cells that line the mucous membranes found throughout the body, including those inside the mouth, throat, and stomach. This leads to mouth sores, diarrhea, or other problems with the digestive system. And damage to cells at hair roots, or hair follicles, leads to hair loss.
