V-8 Conversion Blazer?

I have a friend that has an 89 Blazer that someone put a chevy 350 in, I want to put this drivetrain in a 00 Blazer, its a carburetored engine, If i buy the entire truck from him will i have all the stuff i need to do this? what are the major diff between the 89 and 00 model size wise? Thank You in advance

I planned on using a mechanical fuel pump, trying to avoid the computer as much as i can

    Major differences are that the 2000 model had computerized transmission to go along with computerized, fuel injected engine. It will be an easy swap if you have the money. Otherwise, you will not get the trans to work and will blow the carb apart with the 43 PSI fuel pressure.

    Really no differences between 89 and 90. You will have all the parts you need.
