Not in Australia, no. There are many breeds of dogs out there that are not registered as official breeds with the Australian Kennel Club.

The United Kennel Club is legitimate, but the Universal Kennel Club is not. Meow may have them mixed up.

Yes, with the UKC. It's registered as the American Pit Bull Terrier.

Other Pit Bull registries are the American Dog Breeders Association and the American Pit Bull Registry.

@ Meow: The UKC is not a bogus registry. It's been around for over a hundred years.

  • APBT American Pit Bull Terrier, yes.

Not in an y LEGITIMATE registry. The UKC is a bogus registry that registers anything you pay to be registered without asking for ANY proof of pedigree. So no - it is NOT a LEGITIMATE registered breed.
