Supposing the solvent to be water with density (1.00 g/mL):
(120 g C2H6O2) / (62.0678 g C2H6O2/mol) / (400 g) x (1000 g) = 4.8334 m
(0.512 °C/m) x (4.8334 m) = 2.4747 °C change
100°C + 2.4747 °C = 102.47 °C
(-1.86 °C/m) x (4.8334 m) = -8.9901°C change
0°C -8.9901°C = -8.99°C
