Bible colleges v secular schools. Is the fact that it is aligned with a church make it worth extra $?
In Ohio for example is a highly respected place of higher learning known as Wittenburg University. Is that to say that you couldn't get the same level of education at say University of Cincinnati?

I go to a Christian university. I don't think the academics are necessarily different at all. A secular school is just as good as a Christian school, and vice versa.
There are a lot of pros and cons to going to a Christian school.
Christian schools tend to be a lot more expensive. I can't really tell you why, because I don't really know. But when choosing an expensive school, you always have to decide whether it's worth spending that much or not.
What I like about my school is that it's smaller, so the class sizes are smaller and I get a lot of one-on-one with my professors. And since it's a Christian school, we have a lot of opportunities like mission trips, service organizations, etc., that we can get involved in, which many secular schools wouldn't have.
I didn't answer your original question, but I hope I've helped answer your second question.

From my, admittedly biased perspective, the main difference is whether you wish to contribute to the further advance of human civilization, or wish to undermine everything humanity has already accomplished.

The correct answer depends entirely upon what you want a college education to do for you.
1. If you want to remain with a narrow set of beliefs that you hold strongly, go for
the Bible college.
2. If you want to widen your understanding of the world, encounter new and challenging ideas, and broaden your appreciation of the different ways that people conduct their lives, choose a secular liberal arts school.
Either way, you can end up happy and contented.
It seems a shame to me that anyone would want to hide away from the broader world though.

They cost more only because they employ clergy and administer behavioral contracts, etc.
