Should I still study abroad in Dubai this fall considering the recent outbreak of MERS?
This upcoming fall semester I planned on studying abroad in Dubai. Due to the recent outbreak of the MERS virus and the danger that it presents would you recommend still studying abroad there? I've done research on my own on it and I'm beginning to shy away from going there so I don't risk catching it. I'm asking on here because I would like some direct responses to my question from real people other than news articles.
Thank you.

MERS-CoV does not spread easily person-to-person. It has been linked to camels and bats. It was advised to be cautious with camels and farm animals. If you are careful it will not be a likely problem, I would think. But with headlines and warnings, I do not know what you think.
There are quite a lot of articles found on the topic lately, including this one from a Center for Infectious Disease and Policy at the University of Minnesota:

OK, other than news articles, I was wondering about your choices. Do you have a reason to go to Dubai? Is the school good? Do you have connections there or hope to make some? Is the school known for something important to you?
What are your alternatives? Going somewhere else to study? Staying at your current school and not going abroad?
