Girlfriend wont change her relationship status?

We've not been going out all that long, only a couple months. I tried talking to her about it a couple times but she just gets all annoyed about it. Things have been going REALLY well apart from that. It all just seems too good to be true. But she won't change her relationship status to being in a relationship with me. we're in a long distance relationship so I understand that she wouldn't want everyone to know but I go see her as often as I can, and I find it hard not to get suspicious. I just want to show her off because I'm proud to be with her but she keeps giving me bs excuses, saying that she'll get bullied for being in a long distance relationship etc. I don't know what to do. I don't want to leave her. Thats the last thing I want to do. Any help?
