I had 1 tooth pulled out because it was starting to grow into a molar the whole right side of my face was numb after the extraction and I don't remember much but I had to keep a wet towel in my mouth for atleast 2 hours or until the bleeding stopped I could only eat yogurt for 3 days :(

I had both of my canine teeth and a molar pulled. It didn't hurt at all, trying to get the bleeding to stop was annoying though.

I've had lots of experience with this, having been blessed with 5 wisdom teeth 😣 Wisdom teeth and molars are tougher to pull and therefore can cause more discomfort during the pulling. I think they heal more quickly than front teeth extractions though. The bleeding generally stops within hours of the extraction- if not, you need to pay close attention to what you are doing. Rest is best, warm salt water rinses several times a day help to ease pain and close the gums where the tooth was and reduce swelling. Be extra careful when brushing, use a soft toothbrush (leave your battery powered one for after your mouth heals) and floss gently. If you are taking pain meds afterward, don't go home alone. Have someone with you while you sleep it off, and who can make you some warm broth to drink and bring you water with a straw in it and fix your ice cream or yogurt for you :-) You should be right as rain in 2 or 3 days with no bleeding and eating solid foods carefully- if not, head back to the dentist!
