The state withheld my income tax for an unemplyment overpayment but it's not being deducted?

So I have an appeal filed for unemployment because the state disqualified me for lying about how much I made again and in the letter it didn't state for how long I am disqualified for? So I kept signing the paper work for over 5 weeks and nothing? I have a 300 dollar overpayment from the last time I received uei benefits and for 3 years my state income tax was being withheld which has been approximately $250 dollars but each month I still received the same amount owed and my withheld state income tax hasn't been applied to it? What am I supposed to do?

Guess you just over did it in your past tax years of claims for that purpose.

Hope that you find the above enclosed information useful. 04/30/2014

Try calling and asking. You are probably disqualified until you have a new legitimate claim. So that means until you get a new job and then lose it again in such a manner that you would be qualified.

if your overpayment was $300 and they have withheld $250 of your state refunds it would appear you are going to have at least $50 of your next state refund offset to pay the overpayment

once your obligation is met, you are probably no longer disqualified
